There are few songs that can silence a crowd and take everyone on a journey at the same time. O Sanam by Lucky Ali is one of them. At the recent event, I had the chance to perform this timeless classic on stage — and it was an experience I’ll never forget.
As the first chords played, I could see the spark of recognition in the audience. By the time the chorus arrived, it wasn’t just me singing — it felt like the entire room was swaying with the same emotion. Lucky Ali’s music has that power: it bridges generations, stirs memories, and makes strangers feel connected.
For me, singing O Sanam wasn’t just about performing. It was about paying tribute to one of India’s most soulful voices, and sharing a piece of nostalgia that still feels as fresh today as it did decades ago.
Moments like these remind me why music is magic — it’s not just sound, it’s shared emotion. And on that stage, for those few minutes, it was all heart.
